I'm on a mission to help you buy your first international vacation rental, so that you can enjoy it with friends and family today, while building wealth for tomorrow.

I faced many challenges while trying to buy my first vacation rental overseas. That’s what inspired me to build the Lifestyle Investing Framework. In other words, I made all the mistakes so you don’t have to!

I’ve spent over two decades globetrotting across 30+ countries, including living and working in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Argentina. My greatest passion is exploring the world's endless possibilities and empowering others to do the same.

But don’t worry – this is way more than a passion-project! Here are some of my professional highlights:

15+ years of experience coaching and mentoring students, lawyers and other professionals, making complex topics simple and accessible.
Co-founder and CEO of Nidala Properties Ltd, a corporation that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of income properties in Canada and beyond.
17+ years climbing the corporate ladder, and choosing to leave it all behind to start my own consulting firm: Via Global Strategy.
Fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
Master's in International Law, along with degrees in both common law and civil law, allowing me to navigate seamlessly across borders and cultures.

Via Global Strategy combines my passion for travel, hospitality, and real estate. It also showcases my skill in spotting risks and suggesting practical solutions. (Try me. I love a good challenge!)

I’m a strong believer in doing the right thing, and doing things right. My keen attention to detail (to a fault some will say!) ensures that I serve my clients with excellence every step of the way.

The Long Story…

When I was first accepted into law school at the age of 19 (yes, that’s possible!) I went against the grain and decided to pack up and move to Mexico instead (much to the chagrin of my friends and family who thought that was the worst idea they had ever heard of). Somehow I knew even then that the world had so much to offer outside of the traditional path of “go to the right school, get the right degree, get the right job, marry the right person, buy the right house and have the right number of kids”. That was the best choice I ever made for myself.

It wasn’t easy. Oh no it wasn't. That was in 2002, before we had the world at our fingertips. Back when we packed paper maps. Back when we needed to go to an Internet café to communicate with loved ones back home (if said café wasn't closed randomly because of a fiesta or siesta). But did I ever learn.

I became fluent in English and Spanish (my first language is French). I met the most wonderful people that I am still in touch with today. But most of all, I learned that I’m strong. Capable. And that no one is coming to save me.

I've since traveled to over 30 countries, lived and worked in 4, obtained a diploma in Travel and Tourism and worked as a Travel Agent as well as in high end hospitality in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Argentina. Somewhere along the way, I did end up getting the right degrees (3 of them for some reason: A Masters in Law, a Juris Doctor and a Degree in Civil Law), got the right job (16 years climbing the corporate ladder including 10+ as a lawyer), married the right person (was the right person 10 years ago and thankfully still is the right person today), bought the right house (after a few tryouts) and had the right (?) number of kids.

This was “success” by society’s standard. Yet, something was still missing and I wanted more.

After a failed attempt at land development and building a custom home (as well as many sleepless nights and thousands of dollars down the drain…), I decided to learn everything and anything I could about personal finances and real estate investing. I invested in one-on-one coaching (second best decision I ever made after moving to Mexico). Read books. Listened to podcasts. Watched YouTube videos. Attended networking events. Started my Instagram account where I met the most wonderful real estate investors. I was hooked.

Our corporation, Nidala Properties, now manages a successful and diversified portfolio of real estate in Canada and beyond...

Leaving the comfort of corporate life and all its perks (do I dare say multiple 6 figure income, 5 weeks paid vacation per year and amazing pension and benefits?) to found Via Global Strategy is the culmination of my passions for world travel, hospitality and real estate investing combined with my keen abilities to think strategically, and identify and offer mitigation measures for risk in pretty much any situation.

So if you’re in the same spot I was in a few years ago - having ticked off all of society’s check boxes yet knowing deep inside there MUST be more to life than this - I hear you! I was you! Allowing myself to want more was the first step. Getting one-on-one coaching was the second. Everything flowed from there in a combination of consistent (and diligent!) education and action.
