I faced many challenges while trying to buy my first vacation rental overseas. That’s what inspired me to build the Lifestyle Investing Framework. In other words, I made all the mistakes so you don’t have to!
I’ve spent over two decades globetrotting across 30+ countries, including living and working in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Argentina. My greatest passion is exploring the world's endless possibilities and empowering others to do the same.
But don’t worry – this is way more than a passion-project! Here are some of my professional highlights:
- Co-founder and CEO of Nidala Properties Ltd, a corporation that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of income properties in Canada and beyond.
- 17+ years climbing the corporate ladder, and choosing to leave it all behind to start my own consulting firm: Via Global Strategy.
- Fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
- Master's in International Law, along with degrees in both common law and civil law, allowing me to navigate seamlessly across borders and cultures.
Via Global Strategy combines my passion for travel, hospitality, and real estate. It also showcases my skill in spotting risks and suggesting practical solutions. (Try me. I love a good challenge!)

What’s Lifestyle Real Estate Investing?
I’ve seen it time and time again. Family ‘A’ purchases a beautiful vacation home with the intention of renting it when they don’t use it... but it just does not rent as well as they had hoped. This could be for a number of reasons. Perhaps they didn’t know to look at market comparables. Or that there was already more supply (vacation homes) than demand (tourists) in the area.
Family ‘B’ purchases an equally beautiful vacation home with the same intentions. It actually rents out quite well, but they never find themselves going there because they have young kids, and it takes two connecting flights to get there.
